Guitars and other stringed instruments

This weeks theme started out a little fuzzy and ended pretty hairy. I was gonna just draw guitars but half way through I started drawing scenes that related to the instrument. I like the stuby little guitars I started drawing, I think they are really fun and have a lot of personality, but I wanted to draw more stuff. I guess my taste changed half way through. It happens. Anyways, I'm still pretty happy with this series. 

I included a little bonus sketch as well at the end. I hope you enjoy it. Check back every friday for a new set of sketches. Thanks.

This theme was strange but fun. I have no idea where it came from but I'm glad it happened. I had a blast drawing some of my favorite action icons in produce form. I got a lot of other ideas for this theme so look for the blockbuster sequel soon!

Daily Post It Shark Week edition 8/13-8/17

Happy shark week! I had a lot of fun with this weeks sketches. I'm really enjoying this little project and I'm thinking about making it into a book once I have a solid collection. Maybe an art show as well? I'll see where I am with these by the end of this year and start planning it.

After a night of amazing Pixar music at the Hollywood Bowl I was compelled to do these sketches. Not that Pixar needs anymore praise (we all know they are bad ass), but their ability to connect to such a large audience is nothing short of amazing. So here is my tribute to the best storytellers in the world.
